The other day, I was in the Baby section in Target - checking out potty chairs, diapers, and baby food.
Now granted it was 11am and I had my kid so I probably looked like a stay at home mom, but some guy walks up to me and starts giving me a spill about coming to work for CitiGroup. Now if he is trying to recruit me in a department store, while I look a mess and have a fussy toddler, he is stretching for employees to interview. This is a first- face to face telemarketing. I walked down another isle and hes still following me jabbering when I finally grabbed the diapers to the right of him, and said no thank you I have a job!
I hope real estate agents and loan officers will not ever be reduced to walking up to people in stores and engaging in face to face telemarketing! I mean seriously hunting people down in public, not striking up casual conversation. I found this to be real annoying and it made him look desperate, unprofessional, and pushy........ Probably cause I couldnt hang up on him....

How uncomfortable to be approached like that in a store! It's one thing to be chatting with someone in general and the topic comes up about what a person does, but being accosted like that, well that's just poor form!
Jimmy, they sale them at Target, WalMart, or babys r us. Handy for your littleones that need to hold on.
