The Real Estate Twilight Zone

I feel like Im in a Real Estate Twilight Zone. The Norfolk Real Estate Lady

I have several listings but none of them are getting the traffic they deserve.  I have several buyers that I can not find the right property for.  Its a case of both not enough buyers buying and not enough good inventory at the same time.  On the buyer agent side: I am not talking about picky buyers or overpriced buyers.  I can not find a descent home that will except FHA financing.  I keep running across Bank reos, major fixers, and short sales.  It has been quite depressing.  Yesterday a house came on the market, I met my client when she got off work, showed the home, wrote the offer, and went to fax it and the agent said he had just ratified a contract.  I wanted to die!......  But its like that sometimes.   The Norfolk real estate Lady

Dee Dee, I see you are relatively new to AR. Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your time here. I have challenging times. However, I still enjoy real estate, research, people. I was prepared for times such as this by having my patience tested over many years:-)

Dee - Yes sometimes life throws you an obstacle but like the great Michael Jordan once said "Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."  keep your spirits up and the twilight zone will one eventually turn into sunshine !

I am finding that the well-priced, non-REO, or non-short sales are going under contract very quickly.  If your listings aren't getting showings, then it may be the price...just a thought,
