to REO AGENT DIRECTORY PARTICIPANTS

Have any of you Active Rainers joined the Reo Agent Directory specifically http://www.reoassign.com/.

When reviewing there website: They explain they offer different packages you can use to set your self up on a directory listing to attract REO Asset managers. They say they automatically link to ReoAssign.com, ReoAgentDirectory.com, ReoAgentList.com, ReoListingAgents.com and ReoAgentRoster.com and LinkedRE.com.  I understand that this is just a directory and they dont say they guarantee you any leads.

The Hampton Roads Real Estate Lady

If you have used this program or something similar.  I'm curios to hear your story.  When I search for agents listed in my areas there are no local agents in my area listed on the site and that could be good or bad.  For those who have used this service I would like to here about your success or failures.

Thanks in advance for sharing with me.

I have not used the site because they seem very vague as to what they can do for you.

I agree Dwayne that is exactly why I want to know if anyone has had a good or bad experience.

Dee Dee I would be curious as well to find out if this has ever delivered anyone any business. I get at least an email a well from these guys.

FYI - the realbird widgets you have added in the side bar are making your site come to a crawl. You will end up losing visitors. I ahd to wait at least a couple minutes to leave this comment :)

Thanks for the info on the widgets, Ill remove them

Mmmmm. The name looked familiar.  So, I tried to search for myself, but I couldn't find myself.  There's no way to search by name.  That's curious.

I just want all of these directiries, lead machines to go away and get out of our way on Google.

I want to be my own lead machine.

I have not signed up for this one, but i did sign up and pay for a few others which i will not name. and did get some bpo's and two listings. I also found some great information at http://www.agentbrokerforum.com  about reo and bpo companies.

 good luck.

I agree with Matt, some of them are worth the time and money as it adds to your exposure on the internet. If an asset manager can find me on a website other than my own and it's REO related why not?? It's a complete gamble paying for the upgraded membership but sometime you have to try different things. I would try to find the one that looks professional and is fairly priced like the one I found at this website. www.bpoaccess.com

I've signed up with a few places and no luck.  I just got an REO listing when someone found me on google. You can't beat that!  MATT - Thanks for the link to AgentBrokerForum.com I will be checking it out!

Posted by Bo Buchanan (Kettley Realtors) over 2 years ago

I agree with lisa, it is totally a gamble. But I can say that I did signup with www.AssignREO.com and after about a month or so got a call from a bank looking for REO agents in my area. He said that he just did a search for REO agents in my zip code and it showed up! It worked for me...

Good luck to all

I dont see the reason to pay to be part of these directories in the hopes of maybe an Asset Manager contacting you, when you could just contact the asset managers directly yourself by using the REO Intelligence database that is out there.

If any of you dont know what it is you are really missing out if you want to list REO. Your money would be so much better spent on this database than on these directories.

Here is their website. www.reointelligence.com

We were members of REOtrans and it was actually worthwhile if you wanted to work through doing BPO's at $50-%75 each and working your way toward getting some listings.  Some agents I know have progressed that far...my husband and I decided the BPO's were too much work and gas for our fairly rural area for what you got and it was better to focus on actual clients but everyone has a different opinion!

Posted by Clint & Mindy Cronic (Next Generation Real Estate Services) over 2 years ago

REOtrans, res.net, and a couple others are absolutely neccessary when listing REOs because the lenders actually use these portals to facilitate all their assignments to agents. REOtrans is the biggest. Many lenders use them to track all listing assignments and documents.

I was referring to directories that are just basically a place to display your resume.

Hi there:

I just recently purchased a list of over 1,000 REO assets managers.

This is list is what got me started in the REO business. I thought I would share the info with you:

I wanted to share this free list of REO asset managers and there website information that I got.  I signed up with just about every one of them.  Now in less than three months I have plenty of BPO's and two REO listings, one of which is already in contract.  Just do what ever you can to get started and be patient.  Good luck.

Regarding REOAssign.com

having read some of the articles...I signed up as a Lifetime Member at REOAssign.com and a Featured agent...I received 3 listings in 5 months, not bad but it certainly paid 100 times over for the cost of joining REOAssign

It's a gamble but well worth it...if you ask me...

I signed up for BPO  with USRES which I do for free the first year with them was great it is a little slow now however, they kept me busy for two years, looing for other work now. The list provide by John  was a good one.

There are some really good sites out there with free lists like www.bpolist.net, their list is free and they have all of the top companies.  I have signed up with several and am gettting fairly steady work.  It does take some time to sign up with each company but is well worth it.  Good luck.
